Post Doctoral Fellowship course in Breast Surgery
We have commenced a comprehensive, year-long structured Post-Doctoral Diploma Programme in Breast Surgery and Oncology.
The SGPGI breast cancer patients support group, that is in its infancy currently is also planned to be made more organized and effective, and efforts are underway to entrust these activities to a fully voluntary organization, with appropriate minimal support and help from the medical personnel.
With addition of more dedicated and state of art facilities such as Comprehensive breast clinic equipped with digital mammography and ultrasonography, day care facilities for image guided breast biopsy, day care surgery, chemotherapy suites, etc, and manned by a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, counselors etc, the breast health care delivery at SGPGI has been taken to the next level.
